2022 Candidate for Harvard Overseer: Sangu Delle
An entrepreneur, author, and devoted alumnus, Sangu Delle seeks to transform health care and technology in Africa.
As CEO of Africa Health Holdings, Delle leverages technology to shape Africa’s health care future. As chair of Golden Palm Investments, he leads venture financing of innovative African technology companies. He serves on the boards of the Peddie School in New Jersey, Ashesi University in Ghana, and Ghana International School. He also co-founded Cleanacwa, a nonprofit providing clean water to rural communities in Ghana.
A dedicated Harvard volunteer, Delle is co-founder and vice president of the Harvard Club of Ghana, co- chair of the leadership council of Harvard’s Center for African Studies, a member of the Joint Committee on Alumni Affairs and Development, a member of the HBS Fund Council, a member of the Harvard Medical School Dean’s Advisory Council, a former Harvard Alumni Association elected director, an alumni interviewer, and a class reunion co-chair.
An Eisenhower Fellow, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, a TED Fellow, and a Council on Foreign Relations member, Delle was Future Awards Africa’s 2014 “Young Person of the Year.” He authored Making Futures: Young Entrepreneurs in a Dynamic Africa and has presented TED Talks on mental health, gender equality, and African macro-finance.
